A module $M_R$ is called pseudo FQ-injective (or PFQ-injective for short) if every monomorphism from a finitely generated submodule of $M$ to $M$ extends to an endomorphism of $M$. Some characterizations and properties of this class of modules are investigated. In particular, finitely generated PFQ-injective modules are studied.
