On Legendre Curves in α-Sasakian Manifolds

The torsion of a Legendre curve of an α -Sasakian manifold is obtained. Necessary and sufficient conditions for Legendre curves having parallel mean curvature vector, having proper mean curvature vector, being harmonic and being of type AW(k), k=1,2,3 are also obtained.
