Topological radicals of nest algebras

Let $\mathcal {N}$ be a nest on a Hilbert space $H$ and $\operatorname {Alg}\mathcal {N}$ the corresponding nest algebra. We determine the hypocompact radical of $\operatorname {Alg}\mathcal {N}$. Other topological radicals are also characterized.
