The numerical resolution of a seismic non linear inverse problem leads to use 2D Euler-PML equations, as a model of acoustic wave propagation in the underground. The numerical domain where the computation is done is bounded and heterogeneous. Some a priori energy estimates are proposed in order to demonstrate that this propagation problem is weakly well-posed with a default of rank 1, as an extension of the results in [Petit-Bergez, 2006].
