Dans cette Note, on montre qu'une version modifiée et simplifiée de l'estimateur de Bank–Weiser permet de définir un estimateur a posteriori robuste pour une approximation conforme d'un problème de perturbation singulière. On démontre, sans hypothèse de saturation ni comparaison avec des estimateurs résiduels, l'équivalence entre l'erreur en norme d'énergie et l'estimateur ainsi que la robustesse de celui-ci par rapport au coefficient de diffusion.

In this Note, we show that a modified and simplified version of the estimator of Bank–Weiser can be used to define a robust a posteriori error estimator for singularly perturbed problem. We prove without comparison with a residual estimator or saturation assumption, the equivalence of the estimator with the error in the energy norm and the robusteness with respect to the diffusion coefficient.
